Exploring Embodied Decision-Making though multiple mediums.

IMG_0361.JPG

Sometimes embodied decision-making emerges through drawing

Here is an example:

We "pass" a simple line drawing around. Each person transforms the line drawing in their own way.

We then explore ways to translate this drawing exercise into a movement score.

Mover (A) creates a baseline phrase. Three movers learn that phrase, then work on their own to create variations in which one can still see/sense the baseline phrase. Movers A,B,C,D perform their phrases simultaneously, but intermittently sponge a g]fragment from their fellow movers. Continue until everyone is moving in unison.
