Majoda Stables in Moorestown NJ runs an expansive therapeutic riding program year round. They have a team of young riders who have become our collaborators. Their trainer, Carrie Christiansen, is a fantastic teacher and skilled equestrian and horse trainer.

For Majoda, our collaboration brings dance artistry into the equine arena. Our performance include large choreographed works as well as improvised scores. During the year we teach movement sessions for the Majoda riders that focus on the improvisation skills of leading and following, in the moment decision-making, spatial awareness and how to ride with a dancer in tandem.

The Majoda collaboration offers Equus dancers on-going horsemanship training with Carrie Christiansen and a team of terrific young riders to choreograph and perform with. A WIN_WIN for all.
