
Sarah France
Dancer, Installation Artist, Company Administrator
Sarah France is a New York based multi-disciplinary artist from Pittsburgh, PA who has extended her lifelong fascinations with movement and creativity into working as a professional dancer, figure skater, choreographer, aerialist, visual artist, author, musician and grant writer. She attended the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Minneapolis, MN where she studied visual arts and dance, holds undergraduate degrees in art history and biochemistry, and is in progress towards an additional degree in nonprofit management. She began dancing at age three, eventually studying and performing with Zenon Dance Company and in other professional contexts and companies before joining The Equus Projects in 2024. An ice dancer since age eleven, Sarah is internationally regarded as a coach for her deep knowledge of skating skill development and choreography, having coached developmental through Olympic level athletes from numerous countries. She serves on the boards for The Equus Projects and the Knickerbocker Figure Skating Club. Sarah is proud to represent her intersectional communities as an LGBTQ+, neurodivergent and disabled artist.
